9TH ANNUAL
SPOOKYVILLE: HAUNTED ALLEY
Get ready for a night of frights and delights at our ninth annual spooky neighborhood event.
Join us on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the alley behind 715-719 Van Buren Street, NW—in the heart of the Takoma neighborhood of Douglass Commonwealth (DC)—for a FREE hauntingly good time for all ages.
Come for the fun. Stay for the scares.

Fortune Telling

Trick-or-Treat Trail
Grab a map and follow the Trick-or-Treat Trail, collecting sweet treats. Visit every stop and mark your map with stickers to claim a magical prize from the Mayor of Spookyville!

Scary Stories
+ S'mores
Gather 'round the (camp)fire with Girl Scout Troop 42219 for spooky tales and sweet treats. As the flames flicker and shadows grow, brave souls can enjoy spine-tingling tales from People's Book.
